Terms of Service
The agreement between you and RolodexIn. Plain language where plain language works.
Last updated 8 September 2026
Agreement
By creating a RolodexIn account or installing the RolodexIn extension you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We can be reached at support@rolodexin.com.
The service
RolodexIn is a Chrome extension and a web dashboard for keeping private notes, tags, relationship statuses, follow-up reminders and campaigns against LinkedIn profiles you visit. Your data is stored in your own account and is described in our privacy policy.
Your account
- Accounts are created with Google sign-in. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you sign in with.
- One account is for one person. Do not share credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You own the notes and other content you create. We claim no ownership of it, and we use it only to provide the service to you.
Acceptable use
RolodexIn is a read-and-annotate tool and must be used as one. You agree not to:
- Use the service to build or distribute a bulk dataset of people's information, or to resell data captured through it.
- Attempt to automate, script or otherwise drive the extension to capture profiles other than by your own deliberate use.
- Use the service to harass, stalk, discriminate against, or otherwise harm the people you record.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Your use of LinkedIn remains between you and LinkedIn. RolodexIn takes no action on LinkedIn on your behalf, calls no LinkedIn API and modifies nothing on LinkedIn's pages — but you remain responsible for your own compliance with LinkedIn's User Agreement, and for the lawfulness of the records you keep about other people, including under data-protection law where it applies to you.
Plans and payment
- The free plan requires no payment details and does not expire.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, at the prices shown on our pricing page.
- Paddle is our merchant of record. Paddle processes the payment and is responsible for billing, tax and invoicing; their terms also apply to the transaction. Paddle, not RolodexIn, appears on your statement.
- We may change prices. Existing subscribers are told before a change affects them, and a price change never applies to a period already paid for.
Refunds and cancellation
- You can cancel at any time from your profile page in the dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds within 14 days. If you are unhappy with a paid plan, write to support@rolodexin.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
- After 14 days we do not refund part-used periods as a matter of course, but if something went wrong, ask — we would rather sort it out.
- Cancelling never deletes your data. A downgrade is not destructive: you keep everything you have created, and the free plan's limits apply to what you add afterwards. Your exports remain available on every plan.
Availability
We work to keep RolodexIn available and to keep your data safe, with encrypted nightly backups held by two independent storage providers. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider failures and faults happen, and the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law permits.
This is version 0.1 software. It works and it is in daily use, but it is early, and you should keep your own exports of anything you would be upset to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business or lost opportunity. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending it
- You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches the acceptable-use section above, or where we are required to by law. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and material changes are communicated to account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Trademarks
RolodexIn is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, and LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Other trademarks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners.
